Peer-Review Process

The International Journal for Research Communications in Engineering, Emerging Technologies, and Sciences (IJRCEETS) employs a rigorous and transparent double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of academic and scientific integrity. The following outlines the steps in the peer review process:

IJRCEETS Submission Process

1. Initial Screening

  • Upon receiving a manuscript, the editorial team performs a preliminary evaluation to ensure it aligns with the journal’s scope and adheres to submission guidelines.
  • Manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using specialized software. Submissions with high similarity indices or non-compliance with ethical standards may be rejected at this stage.

2. Reviewer Assignment

  • Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to two or more independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
  • The double-blind review process ensures anonymity:
    • Reviewers do not know the identity of the authors.
    • Authors do not know the identity of the reviewers.

3. Review Criteria

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on the following criteria:

  • Originality: Is the research novel and innovative?
  • Scientific Rigor: Are the methods robust and appropriate for the study?
  • Relevance: Does the study align with the journal’s scope and audience?
  • Clarity: Is the manuscript well-organized and clearly written?
  • Ethical Compliance: Does the study adhere to ethical research guidelines?

Reviewers provide detailed feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of the manuscript and suggest improvements where necessary.

4. Review Outcomes

Based on reviewers’ evaluations, the editorial team will communicate one of the following decisions to the corresponding author:

  • Accepted: The manuscript meets all criteria and is ready for publication.
  • Minor Revisions: The manuscript requires slight changes to improve clarity, accuracy, or presentation.
  • Major Revisions: Significant issues need to be addressed before the manuscript can be reconsidered.
  • Rejected: The manuscript is not suitable for publication in its current form or does not meet the journal’s standards.

Authors will receive the reviewers’ comments and recommendations, along with clear instructions for revisions if applicable.

5. Revision and Resubmission

  • Authors must address all reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript within the specified timeline.
  • A detailed response document outlining how each comment was addressed should accompany the revised submission.

6. Final Review and Editorial Decision

  • Revised manuscripts undergo a final review to ensure that all reviewer suggestions have been adequately addressed.
  • The editorial team makes the ultimate decision on publication based on reviewers’ recommendations and the revised manuscript’s quality.

7. Post-Acceptance

  • Accepted manuscripts are formatted and proofread for publication.
